We replaced the wooden floor of the gardener with four generous 5 gallon reservoirs that extend the time between irrigation and distribute the moisture evenly throughout the bed. In tests, our crops grew stronger and higher, and faster. Furthermore, as water is taken mainly from below rather than from up, less water is lost by evaporation.
The height of the gardener offers other advantages: less weeds, less maintenance and less animals that damage your plants.
